EURMIA FREE ACCIDENT INSURANCE. In order to afford their air passengers an additional sense of security, the Eurasia Aviation Corporation introduced a scheme of insurance which came into effect on September 1, 1936. According to a contract between the company and the Allianz und Stungarter of Germany, every Eurasia traveller (including not only paying passengers, but also holders of complimentary or rebate tickets) is insured against any accidents to the company's planes, up to $10,000 in case of. loss of life or total disability. Under this general scheme of insurance, the Eurasia stands as applicant and pays the premium for each of its passengers. There is, however, no mcrease in the fares. As the insurance company is responsible only to Eurasia by virtue of their contract, all claims must be presented to the latter; through whom all compensations will be paid. Upon the occurrence of any acciden; the claim must be made in writing and presented directly to the General Office of the Eurasia Aviation Corporation, accompanied by the passenger ticket and certificate of a doctor, stating the nature and extent of the injury sustained. The terms of compensation are: (1) in case of death or total disability, $10,000; (2) in case of injury, received at an accident to the plane, cawing temporary total incapacity for work, the company will pay the medical expenses up to a maximum of $10 a day for the duration of such incapacity; (3) no responsibility is accepted in respect of infants weighing under 10 kilos, who are permined by the Eurasia regulations to travel free of charge; (4) children weighing above 10 kilos, but under 30 kilos, who are required to pay half the regular passenger fares, are insured at half the amount of adult insurance.
