Pleasant restaurant, good service. Shenji Soup Restaurant, This restaurant can be found in two locations - on Beijing Lu near Shaanxi Lu and on the intersection of Sinan Lu and Fuxing Lu. The Beijing Lu establishment is probably the biggest restaurant in Shanghai at this point. The soups are wonderful, and the rest of the food is good too. Service in the big restaurant is very slow and patchy though, simply because of the scale of the operation, it would seem. Prices are reasonable. The Sinan Lu restaurant features a garden that needs a big clean-up, but it's nice in intensely urban Shanghai to look at some green grass, however dusty, while slurping noodles.
